The volume of foreign accounts of Russians has been named – Rambler / finance

Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service Dmitry Volvach said at the Gaidar Forum that the Federal Tax Service is aware of the fact that Russians have over 700 thousand financial accounts abroad for a total of about 13 trillion rubles, TASS reports.

Volvach said that we are talking about 400 thousand tax residents – legal entities and individuals.

He noted that part of the information on the accounts was obtained during the international exchange of financial information, and the FTS learned about part of the funds from the reports of the taxpayers themselves.

According to Volvach, the share of inconsistencies detected by the Federal Tax Service is very small compared to the volume of assets and the number of accounts that the department identified and which foreign partners reported.

Earlier, as “Rambler” wrote, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled that the Russian elites are not prohibited from having assets abroad, unlike officials.
